Hi! We’re the Traveladdicts and we’d like to tell you all about the sights we saw in Peru when we went on Kuoni’s “Highlights of Peru” tour.

This was a two-week, fully escorted tour around many of Peru’s diverse attractions. We visited the capital of Lima, travelled down the mighty Amazon river and stayed in a lodge in the rainforest, we visited the ancient Inca capital of Cusco as well as the Lost City of Machu Picchu, we rode on one of the highest railways in the world along the Andes, we visited the floating reed islands on Lake Titicaca - the world’s highest navigable lake and we flew over the puzzling Nazca lines.

You can explore this site from beginning to end by following the Guided tour icon links at the end of each page. Alternatively, you can use the table on the left if you want to read about a particular subject. You can return to this page from any of our Peru pages by clicking this Peruvian Emblem Peru home page icon which is also located at the bottom of each page and, when you have finished, why not take a look at some of the other places we have written about by visiting our home page which can be reached by clicking on the spinning world Traveladdicts Home Page icon that appears on each page.

We have deliberately reduced the size and quality of the in-line pictures so that our pages will load faster (and fit on smaller screens). You are invited to click on any of our pictures (including the ones in the “Peru” letters above) to view the original full size, full quality picture in a separate browser window.

Anyway, enjoy your virtual trip and don’t forget to tell us what you thought about it when you’ve finished by sending us an email - we’d be delighted to hear from you and (if you don’t mind) we’d love to add your comments to our Readers’ Comments page (we promise not to include your full name or your email address). We welcome any suggestions or even criticisms that you might have and in return we’ll let you know when we add other trip reports.
