Hi! We're the Traveladdicts and we'd like to tell you all about our self-guided, three-week tour of Japan.

We have met many people who have always wanted to visit Japan but have been put off for various reason. If you fall into this category then read on and maybe we'll convince you that there really isn't any reason why you shouldn't go.

We came back from this trip with lots of vivid memories from this fascinating country and so we have written rather more than usual about this trip. You can explore this site from beginning to end by following the  links at the end of each page. Alternatively, you can use the table on the left if you just want to find out about a particular subject.

We have included almost 100 pictures from our tour throughout these pages and we have deliberately reduced the size and quality of the in-line images so that our pages will load faster (and fit on smaller screens). However, for anyone with a fast internet connection (or lots of patience), we have provided the original full size, full quality pictures which you can view (in a pop-up window) by simply clicking on any of our pictures.
